I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 9+ years of experience. My focus has been to empower culturally diverse adolescents and adults to gain access to and effectively use mental health, education, medical, and community resources to achieve a superior quality of life. 

 

My professional journey began by obtaining my Associates in Arts at Richland Community College, then my Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Illinois in Springfield, and finally my Masters in Social Work (Specializing in School Social Work) from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. I have provided education and resources for parents to assist with obtaining and navigating special education services.
